Abstract

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant tumor of bone. The time between the first symptoms and diagnosis is often very long. Pain is the first symptom. The most common symptom is palpable mass. Lower extremity edema as the first symptom of pelvis osteosarcoma is very rare and has not been reported before. We report the case history of a 16 year old man with left lower extremity edema with initial diagnosis of pelvic thrombophlebitis.
