In recent years, spinal fusion surgery has become one of the most common treatments for spinal cord injuries, while the interbody cages, which replace the damaged interbody discs in the surgeries, have undergone extensive changes in design and material. These changes are quite visible, ranging from plain titanium cages made using the conventional manufacturing methods to customized porous titanium cages, which are made using additive manufacturing technology, or titanium-coated polymer cages. Among all the materials used in manufacturing the interbody cages, PolyEther Ether Ketone (PEEK) and titanium are the most common ones. Each of these two has its own advantages and disadvantages. Several studies have compared these two materials, mostly based on the two characteristics of subsidence and fusion rates. The present study performed a comprehensive review of the published clinical studies comparing the titanium and PEEK cages in order to make a comprehensive evaluation of these two. According to the reviewed studies, both materials had relatively similar results in subsidence rate, with no significant difference. However, it was shown that the titanium cages had a better fusion rate and subsequently were more likely to be successful in the clinical settings than the PEEK cages.

Background: One of the issues related to stimulating and accelerating bone regeneration and bone repair is the role of the immune system in fracture healing, known as osteo-immunology.Method: In these review 57 articles of science direct and pumped database is investigated for potential role and mechanism of the immune system's response to bone fracture. Results: biological materials such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), lipopolysaccharide (LPS), interleukin-17 (IL-17) protein, lipotic Acid (LTA) could regulate the immune system, which have the ability to improve the ossification process and faster healing. Conclusion: The direction of future research was predicted regarding the emergence of new therapeutic compounds derived from bone-building materials such as bone growth factors and substances that regulate the behaviour of the immune system in order to regenerate bone.

Introduction: The most common cause of knee pain is knee osteoarthritis, many surgical and non-surgical treatments have been proposed but the preferred treatment remains unknown. One of the non-surgical treatments was PRP (plasma reach platate) injection in these patients. Various studies have shown the improvement of the effect of PRP injection with substances such as calcium gluconate, so the aim of this study was to evaluate the effectof PRP with and without calcium gluconate on the clinical results of intra-articular injection of this substance in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods: This was a cohort study in which patients were divided into two groups: PRP injection and PRP injection with calcium gluconate. The results of the study were evaluated by KOOS questionnaire and pain by VAS. A significance level of 0.05 was considered.Result: Generally, during the study, the pain level in patients after receiving both treatments significantly decreased during the six-month period, while the pain in the case group significantly decreased. (P Value <0.05).Discussion: From the results of this study, it can be concluded that simultaneous injection of PRP and calcium gluconate can further improve the results of injection.

Background: Severchr(chr(chr('39')39chr('39'))39chr(chr('39')39chr('39')))s disease is a common cause of heel pain in growing adolescents. The aim of this study to prevalence of Sever’s diseasein children in age 5to15 referred to Poursina hospital during 2015-2014 Methods: This study designed as descriptive-cross sectional study on 88 children 5 to 15 years admitted to Poursina Hospital in 2015-2014, who had a definite diagnosis of sever disease with regard to clinical symptoms and specialist physician diagnosis were identified. These patients had no evidence of fracture or tumor or deformity in the distal to the leg, infection, reactive arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis during the past 12 months. Patient demographic and contextual information such as age, sex, height, weight, and patient records were recorded from the patient and the patientchr(chr(chr('39')39chr('39'))39chr(chr('39')39chr('39')))s family. Then data were analyzed, using SPSS, version 21. Results: Severchr(chr(chr('39')39chr('39'))39chr(chr('39')39chr('39')))s disease prevalence in the study period was observed 1/86. The mean age of patients was 10.28 ± 3.92 years. The highest percentage of patients with sever disease in children aged 5 to 15 were males (76.1%). In this study, 100 percent of patients with sever and painful limitation of dorsiflexion and gastrocnemius soleus equines foot / soleus. In this study Chi-square test showed that the gastrocnemius / soleus and professional sports history statistically significant correlation (P=0.0001). Conclusion: Severe disease is more common in 5 to 15 year old male children doing professional sports, but further research is needed.

Medical research has always been a matter of health, and it is also important in sports, especially martial arts, which are associated with more injuries and injuries caused by exercise or during exercise. Therefore, scientific studies can be used to identify and identify these injuries and injuries. So far, there have been many studies in the field of injuries and sports injuries, in most of these studies, statistical methods and case studies have been used. In this research, we use a management decision-making method based on the principles of mathematical modeling to identify the injuries and damage caused by martial arts. The advantage of this method is that, based on paired comparisons and using judgments of experts and orthopedic specialists, the factors and the effect of the relationships between them can be identified. Hence, this method can detect damage to organs and joints, even with the degree of severity and importance of them.
