There is no "gold standard" test for a definite diagnosis of this syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a constellation of signs and symptoms. The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation of the subjective, objective and electrophysiological findings in patients who had carpal tunnel syndrome and underwent carpal tunnel surgery.Methods: A prospective study performed on 103 patients who had carpal tunnel surgery. Subjective evaluation accomplished by two standard questionnaires. Objective findings were comprised of Tinel’s sign, Phalen test, pinch and power grip, and electrophysiologic evaluation. Statistical tests were used to evaluate the data.Results: There was a statistically significant linear correlation between the Tinel's sign and Phalen test. There was a positive correlation between the "means" of the pinch and power grip. There was a positive correlation between average symptom severity scale and functional status scale. In patient with severe electrophysiological findings there was a statistically significant correlation between subjective, objective and electrophysiological findings.Conclusions: It seems that in advanced stages, significant correlation between subjective, objective and electrophysiological findings is present.}, keywords = {carpal tunnel syndrome,diagnostic tests,signs and symptoms}, title_fa = {تطابق یافته‌های سابژکتیو، ابژکتیو در سندرم تونل‌کارپ}, abstract_fa = {پیش‌زمینه: سندرم تونل کارپ در اثر تحت فشار قرار گرفتن عصب مدیان در تونل مچ دست ایجاد می‌شود. تست استاندارد شده جهت تشخیص قطعی سندرم تونل کارپ وجود ندارد و تابلوی بالینی شامل مجموعه‌ای از علایم و نشانه‌ها می‌باشد. هدف از انجام این مطالعه، بررسی تطابق یافته‌های سابژکتیو، ابژکتیو و الکتروفیزیولوژی در بیماران مبتلا به سندرم تونل کارپ که مورد عمل جراحی قرار گرفته‌اند، بود.مواد و روش‌ها: در یک مطالعه آینده‌نگر از بیمارانی که در فاصله زمانی 5/1 سال (شهریور 84 تا اسفند 85) با علایم سندرم تونل کارپ ایدیوپاتیک به بیمارستان شهید مطهری ارومیه مراجعه کردند، 103 بیمار به علت سندروم تونل‌کارپ مورد عمل جراحی قرار گرفتند. علایم سابژکتیو با استفاده از دو پرسشنامه ارزیابی شد. علایم ابژکتیو شامل علامت «تینل»، تست «فالن»، قدرت دست (power grip) و قدرت گرفتن جسم بین انگشت شست و نشانه (pinch) و بررسی الکتروفیزیولوژی بود. داده‌های جمع‌آوری شده مورد ارزیابی آماری قرار گرفتند.یافته‌ها: بین تست «فالن» و علامت «تینل» همبستگی خطی مستقیم و معنی‌دار وجود داشت؛ بین میانگین مقادیر قدرت دست و قدرت گرفتن جسم بین انگشت شست و نشانه، و همچنین بین شدت علایم و وضعیت عملکرد دست همبستگی مثبت وجود داشت. بین یافته‌های ابژکتیو و سابژکتیو تنها در افراد با اختلال شدید الکتروفیزیولوژی ارتباط معنی‌دار بود.نتیجه‌گیری: به نظر می‌رسد که ترکیب علایم سابژکتیو، ابژکتیو و الکتروفیزیولوژی، دقت تشخیص قطعی سندرم تونل‌کارپ را افزایش می‌دهد. در مراحل پیشرفته بیماری که اختلال الکتروفیزیولوژی عصب بیشتر می شود، تطابق و همخوانی علایم وجود دارد.}, keywords_fa = {سندرم کارپال تانل,آزمون‌های تشخیصی,نشانه‌ها و علایم}, url = {https://www.ijos.ir/article_121211.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijos.ir/article_121211_fcf715b5e154cbf256a81ff10faa3016.pdf} }
