Given the rare occurrence of this infection in neonates and its low number of symptoms, the diagnosis of septic arthritis in infants is difficult and its prognosis is mainly affected by early diagnosis and treatment. This study aimed to evaluate the results of neonatal hip septic arthritis treatment results in two training hospitals during 2001-2016. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional and descriptive research was performed on infants who were referred to hospitals in the North of Iran due to hip septic arthritis during 2001-2016. Medical information was two recorded in a checklist based on demographic indicators and clinical findings in the laboratory. In addition, the presence of complications in the participants was assessed via a phone call or by in-person visit. Results: In this study, the left hip joint was the most involved joint in terms of septic arthritis (72.2%). In addition, the most common bacteria responsible for the infection were Klebsiella (50%), E.coli (22.2%), and Staphylococcus aureus (27.8%). According to the results, 50% of the subjects were treated completely with no complications, whereas 11% of the right and 38.9% of left hips had limping (p=o.615). Conclusion: Given the high number of complications of neonatal hip infection, early diagnosis and timely treatment is needed to reduce the complications.  }, keywords = {Keywords: Septic Arthritis,neonates,Hip joint,Infection,treatment,retrospective study}, title_fa = {بررسی نتایج درمانی آرتریت سپتیک هیپ نوزادان در شمال کشور}, abstract_fa = {چکیده مقدمه و هدف: آرتریت سپتیک یکی از عفونت‌های مهم در دورة کودکی است که عوارض بالایی دارد. با توجه به نادر بودن این حالت در نوزادان و کم بودن نشانه‌های آن، تشخیص آرتریت سپتیک در نوزادان مشکل و پیش‌آگهی آن به طور عمده تحت‌تأثیر تشخیص زود‌هنگام و عدم تأخیر در درمان است. بنابراین، هدف این مطالعه بررسی نتایج درمان آرتریت سیپتیک هیپ نوزادان در بیمارستان‌های دانشگاهی در سال‌های 1380 تا 1395 بود. روش اجرا: در این مطالعة توصیفی- مقطعی، پروندة نوزادانی که در سال‌های 1380 تا 1395، در دو بیمارستان آموزشی شمال ایران، به علت ابتلا به آرتریت سپتیک هیپ نوزادان بستری شده بودند، بررسی شد. اطلاعات پروندة نوزادان بر اساس شاخص‌های دموگرافیک و یافتة بالینی و آزمایشگاهی، در چک لیست ثبت شد. همچنین با تماس تلفنی و یا درخواست حضوری از افراد، وجود عارضه در نوزدان بررسی شد. نتایج: بیشترین بخش مفصل هیپ که با آرتریت سپتیک درگیر شد، مفصل هیپ چپ (2/72 درصد) بود. همچنین، بیشترین باکتری‌های عامل عفونت در میان نوزادان، کلبسیلا (50 درصد)، اشرشیاکلی (2/22 درصد) و استافیلوکوکوساورئوس (8/27 درصد) بود. نتایج نشان داد که 50 درصد از نوزدان بدون هیچ عارضه‌ای به طور کامل درمان شدند، 1/11 درصد پس از ترخیص، دچار لنگش در پای راست و 9/38 درصد دچار لنگش در پای چپ شدند (615/0p=). نتیجه‌گیری: عوارض ناشی از عفونت مفصل هیپ نوزادان بسیار بالا است. پیشنهاد می‌شود با تشخیص زودهنگام و درمان بهنگام، در کاهش عوارض این بیماری اقدام شود. واژگان کلیدی: آرتریت سپتیک، نوزادان، مفصل هیپ، عفونت، درمان، مطالعة گذشته‌نگر}, keywords_fa = {کلمات کلیدی:آرتریت سپتیک,نوزادان,مفصل هیپ,عفونت,درمان,مطالعه گذشتهنگر}, url = {https://www.ijos.ir/article_121413.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijos.ir/article_121413_15a21a61add373287df0c74a93452caa.pdf} }
